includes all aspects of football skills to enable
the youngsters to develop thier technique. The
coaching is for boys and girls aged between 6 -10
years old and run every friday between 4pm and 5pm.
The charge for this course is £4 per session

Kingswells Scouts -
All meetings are held at Kingswells
Community Centre. Beavers (Age 6 to 8) meet on a
Tuesday from 6.00 - 7.00pm; Cubs(Age 8 to 10 1/2)
and Scouts (Age 10 1/2 to 15 1/2) meet on a
Wednesday from 6.00 - 7.30 and 7.30 - 9.00
respectively. There is a waiting list but more

provide a caring and stimulating environment where
children feel safe, secure and happy in what may be
their first experience of coming together in a
group situation without their parent/carer.
meet weekdays Monday &endash; Friday 9.15 &endash;
11.45 am (term time) at Kingswells Village Hall.
Each session costs £2.75 (minimum 2, maximum 5
sessions per week).
parent/carers are required to help at playgroup on
a rota basis (depending on the number of sessions
their Child attends).
adult/child ration is 1:5. Children must be aged
between 2 years 6 months and 5 years old. All
children must be toilet trained.

Kingswells Playgroup SweatShirts:
have introduced new sweatshirts for the children to
wear. They are really nice and red just like
Kingswells Primary School they have the Kingswells
playgroup logo printed on them. They are an
alternative to an apron and are available for sale
at £8.50 each , there is one on the notice
board in Kingswells Village hall for you to

Guide Commissioner for Kingswells, although Lorna
Yates will be taking over after the summer. There
are two Rainbow Units, two Brownie Units and a
Guide Unit who meet in the Kingswells Community
Centre each Monday night during term time.

Boys Brigade. Meeting place is the Kingswells
School Gymnasium. Anchor Boys (Primary 2 and 3)
meet on a Friday 6:15-7:15pm, Junior section
(Primary 4,5 and 6)meet on a Thursday from
7:00-8:30pm. There is no waiting list and all boys
