Also a big thank you to the great welcome I have received from the school where I am looking forward to being a regular visitor.

In January we are having an epiphany communion on Sunday 2nd January and then

For a few weeks we shall be asking how we attend to God

Then come along - a warm welcome awaits you. (Posted 28.12.2004)

MINISTER: Rev Harvey Grainger, Church of Scotland, retired from Kingswells Parish Church on 31st January 2004, and now lives in Peterculter, where he is presently serving as locum minister for both Cults East and Cults West Parish Churches. This is called "retirement" ! You get rid of one congregation and you immediately acquire two more !

The vacant Church of Scotland charge at Kingswells is now being looked after by another retired minister - the Rev Laurie Y.Gordon formerly of John Knox Church, Aberdeen.

Hi s services are called upon for pastoral care, weddings, baptisms and funerals. He is also the chaplain of the local primary school and chaplain at Craiginches Prison, Aberdeen, and one of the chaplains at Bankhead Academy (to which Kingswells senior pupils go).

WESTHILL EPISCOPAL CHURCH. The Episcopal Parish is Westhill with Kingswells.

We are a small family orientated church with a vision to serve God at the heart of the community.

We have stopped meeting at the Community Centre for Sunday services and joined the congregation at Westhill 11.15 a.m. in the Ashdale Hall.

On Tuesday evenings we meet in member's homes sharing food friendship, worship, bible study and take opportunities to serve the local community.

You are welocme to join us. We look forward to meeting you.

We are partners with Trinity Episcopal Church Westhill. Please contact Andrew Chadwick on 743955
